Pony Express Horseback FAQs

Private horseback riding facility provide you with additional accommodations to help with comfort, safety, and improved riding experience. If you wish that your 4 yr old ride with mom... We can make it happen.

Food and drinks are allowed. Saddle bags are provided to hold such items.

Showing up a little early is encouraged. We adjust saddles, introduce rider and horse, provide an opportunity to get to know how to handle the horse before we set off. This can take a half hour to an hour and is free of charge. We want the ride to be safe, fun, and unforgettable (in a good way).

Helmets are provided upon request and free of charge. Please call for additional accommodations @ 208-220-1228

Besides Post Ride Music, extras are included. We want you to have the best experience possible. So, the extra time before and after ride the ride is at no charge. Come feel the liberation of a no rush ride.

Please take as many pictures as you would like and share them on social media. Bear Lake has some of the greatest views and we want you to capture them. After the horseback ride finishes, feel free to take additional pictures with the horses. Don't forget to tag us @Pony Express Horseback Trail Rides on Facebook.

No, we are open all year long. We have both indoor and outdoor services. We also offer a unique snow ride, if you are up for a brisk ride in a beautiful mountain landscape blanked with snow.
